By establishing an account on Akhuwat, you agree to receive emails based on your account activity (for example, confirmations of donations you have made, confirmation receipts for donations you have made, , statements on the amount of credit available in your Akhuwat account, confirmation of email address or password changes, or customer service inquiries regarding activity in your account).

  4. In case you become a donor and donate any amount to Akhuwat,  the organization will disclose your donating activity or activities on the website. If you do not want your name disclosed against the donation activity then a written request to Akhuwat shall be made, after which Akhuwat will not publish your name against the donating activity. You will receive  emails from time to time from Akhuwat. . Akhuwat will not disclose your email address to our partners in any case -- these emails are sent through a webform without any third party learning your address. You can choose not to receive these emails through a preference on the Website.

  5. You may receive periodic newsletter emails from Akhuwat. The frequency of these newsletters may vary but will be no greater than once per month. You can choose not to receive these newsletters through a preference on the Website.
  6. Akhuwat will not disclose your personally identifiable lending activity to any third party without your consent. However Akhuwat reserves the right to record and display anonymous lending activity on the Website and display the general regions where our lenders/Donors are located. Akhuwat cannot be responsible or liable in the event due to any factor the anonymous lending activity is identified due to the display of information on the Website.

  7. Akhuwat's service providers may be provided access to your personally identifiable information incident to their provision of services to Akhuwat. All such access shall be under appropriate confidentiality agreements and limited to use to provide services to Akhuwat.

  8. If you follow any links which remove you from the Website, this Privacy Policy no longer applies. Akhuwat does not control the privacy policies or the privacy practices of any third parties.

  9. This Website is intended to be used by adults. It is not intended for children, and Akhuwat does not want to collect any personal information for users who are under the age of 13. Akhuwat recommends that parents do not post, or permit others to post, any personally identifiable information with respect to persons under the age of 13.
